Special General Body Meeting of MPVHA

The Special General Body Meeting of Madhya Pradesh Voluntary Health Association, called by the President as per clause 4 of Rules and Regulations of Madhya Pradesh Voluntary Health Association, was held on 28th March 2019, Thursday, at Amar Vilas Hotel, Bhopal. With reference to the decision of the 46th Annual General Body Meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Voluntary Health Association (MPVHA) which read as, “the house decided and gave the responsibility to the President, Treasurer and Executive Director either to discuss and negotiate with the present Auditor M/S T.N. Unni and Company to reduce the audit fee or change the Auditor”, the Secretary, MPVHA appraised the house about the matter and informed that the Auditor T.N. Unni and Company were contacted personally by the authorized board members twice and as there was no outcome the 134th Governing Board of MPVHA, in its meeting held on 28th December 2018, authorized the President and Treasurer to appoint new Auditor through inviting quotations from various registered Auditors. After receiving several proposals the President and Treasurer recommended to appoint M/S Sampat Chaplot & Company, Chartered Accountants, Indore as Auditors for the year 2018-19 and informed the previous auditor M/S T.N. Unni and Company about the decision. Thereafter M/S T.N. Unni sent several letters objecting to appointment of new auditor in his place. All the correspondence and representation of M/S T.N. Unni and Company were read out in the house. The House unanimously ratified the decision of the 134th Governing Board Meeting and resolved to appoint M/S Sampat Chaplot and Company as Auditor for the year 2018-19. The house approved the appointment of the new auditor M/S SAMPAT CHAPLOT & CO. Chartered Accountants, E-47 Anurag Nagar A.B. Road Indore to do the audit for the year 2018-19. The House further resolved that in future auditor should be appointed by respective AGBM for one financial year only. Proposed by Mr. Devendra Bhadoriya and Seconded by Mr. Vinay Shrivas.
